Visit Presentation of Mary Academy’s Open House anytime between 10:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. This is a great time to tour the school, meet teachers and students, pick up an application, and register for the Entrance Exam!
October 1st-31st, 2011
All month long, students can register for the Scholastic Testing Service High School Placement Test by stopping by the Admissions Office or by e-mailing their full name, address, telephone number, and current school name to our Director of Admissions, Mrs. Jane Danahy-Foss at jdanahyfoss@pmamethuen.org. Sign-ups are also offered at the annual Open House on October 16, 2011. The exam fee is $30.00.
The 2011 High School Placement Test is being administered at Presentation of Mary Academy on (students choose ONE testing date only):
- Saturday, November 12, 2011 from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- Saturday, December 10, 2011 from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
At PMA we guarantee a familiar classroom environment for testing. There will never be more than 15 students in a room!
October 2011 – May 2012
Interested students should make appointments to visit Presentation of Mary Academy for an entire school day. Visiting students attend classes, meet teachers, and eat lunch with current PMA students! Shadow Days are always very informative and lots of fun! Shadow days take place throughout the months of October – May. To take part in the PMA shadowing program, please contact the Admissions Office at (978) 682-9391 ext. 108.
November 1, 2011
Applicants should be working on the PMA Application. The Transcript Request Form and Transcript Record Form should be given to a guidance counselor, principal, or eighth grade teacher to be completed and forwarded to the Presentation of Mary Academy Admissions Office.
November 1, 2011 – January 13, 2012
Upon submission of their application, students should schedule a family interview (student and at least one parent/guardian). Please call the Admissions Offfice to schedule. All interviews must be conducted by Friday, January 13, 2012.
November 12, 2011 and December 10, 2011
The High School Entrance Exam is administered at Presentation of Mary Academy. Students must report to the Academy at 8:15 a.m. Testing will be completed by 12:00 p.m. (students choose one testing date only).
December 30, 2011
Applications and financial aid applications to FACTS tuition aid are due by this date.
February 1, 2012
Decision letters are mailed on this date. Students’ applications must be complete to receive a decision letter. The following must be on file in the Admissions Office: application, transcript, letters of recommendation, and high school placement test scores.
