Liturgies

The Campus Minister, Chaplain, and Music Director(s) plan the liturgies and prayer services. School wide Masses are celebrated each month in observance of holy days of obligation and other important events including the opening of school, All Saints Day, Presentation of Mary Feast Day, Junior Ring Ceremony, Immaculate Conception, Grandparents Day, Ash Wednesday, Baccalaureate Mass, Ascension Thursday, End of School Year Mass, etc. Liturgy is also celebrated as part of each annual class retreat. In addition, the sacrament of reconciliation is offered to all students during the season of Advent and Lent.

Students who meet diocesan guidelines are invited to become Eucharistic Ministers to serve as Ministers and serve at our school liturgies.

“Recognize in this bread what hung on the cross, and in this chalice what flowed from His side… whatever was in many and varied ways announced beforehand in the sacrifices of the Old Testament pertains to this one sacrifice which is revealed in the New Testament.” -from the writings of St. Augustine, Sermon 3, 2; circa A.D. 410 {original translation}
