Discover the Potential: Capital Campaign

In 2002, PMA, looking to the future, embarked on a $1 Million Capital Campaign to build the Dupres Center. This monumental undertaking added a new larger athletic center, theater and expanded arts center. Alumni, parents, community partners, and friends all showed their belief in the future of PMA with their financial support.

Flash forward to 2017, and PMA once again invested in our future. A ground breaking occurred June 27  to begin the renovation of the Edward F. Searles Carriage House which is the center of the Academy building. The renovations took several months to complete and in January we celebrated with a ribbon cutting.

In  addition to adding an updated entrance, providing accessibility with a handicapped ramp and automatic doors making the front of the building completely accessible, additions such a lift and an accessible bathroom were also added.   The glass enclosed atrium offers a spacious waiting area and the foyer, classrooms, and several offices were moved and renovated including the main office, Head of School and Guidance department.

We are in the midst of this 5-year campaign. There are several projects left to complete.
